I am T. Mike Anderson, the owner of Merlin's Chocolate Labradors. I have been breeding Labrador Retrievers for over 5 years.

We are a competent and ethical breeder of Chocolate Labrador pups with an emphasis on the sporting gun dog. With that said we also are breeding for brains and a mellow disposition. Our labs tend to be mid-sized (60-80)lbs to get good conformation with a lab that is trainable for any purpose. Merlin's Chocolate Labradors believes in the continual improvement of the breed as an ever-present goal.

We are very selective with our breeding program and often will skip a breeding cycle to review the previous pups performance to date to make sure that we are maintaining our goals of excellent results with our pups. We house our dogs in our home and the "Guest House", a 500 squ ft. insulated kennel building with electricity and running water. The dogs make use of a fenced acre of land for their safety and security. Dogs are worked over our 1/4 acre pond and 260 acres of BLM land behind the property.

We charge $350 and $400 for males and females respectively. We will only accept Western Union on the deposit which is $200 and is non- refundable. We will ship the dogs upon request. For this we charge actual shipping cost plus $100 additional for handling. All expenses must be paid in advance. Dogs over 9 weeks old will be charged a boarding fee of $10 per day.
